In class, we were able to watch an interview conducted by Stephen Colbert, for the astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. Although the interview was quite lengthy, it was easily enjoyable and had a light humorous vibe. I actually took a lot out of what I heard him talk about, but one quote that struck is the one above. I realized that his summed up how I feel about the cosmos myself. At first, it was something that I couldn't quite wrap my head around, as it was so vast and seemingly endless. To me, the universe was a complicated messy thing that I didn't really want to learn about. But recently I discovered that if I just step back for a moment, and realize the beauty in front of me, it was actually quite simple.
